Booked a holiday to Egypt from the local shop with very helpful staff. When the paperwork was received we were warned that some hotel facilities were not available.
However, we were not told of other changes, including some that we had paid extra for that the company knew weren't available even when we paid!!
I am now in an argument for a refund of the amount that they took from me knowing I would not get the service. The local shop has now closed down and I am dealing with someone who is safely on the end of a phone in Peterborough, doesn't seem to give two hoots about the facts and clearly have no intention of providing any form of 'customer Service' and face the fact that they took my money knowing that they would not be providing the service I paid for.
Do yourselves a favour - don't book with Thomas Cook!
