We have a scheduled departure to Europe on 3rd Aug. There are 4 of us. 2 from India (me and my husband) and 2 directly joining to London airport. While making enquiries and payment we had told Thomas cook that we will pay our entire expense that came to 1,50,000 per head and the 2 joining directly to london will require transfer to and from airport, accommodation and site seeing. Accordingly they calculated and quoted 1,10,000 per head. We have already made all payments. Yesterday just to confirm we called the Thomas cook executive and asked them whether they have arranged all the transfers and they r informing that transfer for the 2 joining to London are not done. at the last moment where will the 2 aged people go? They dont know anybody at London. They made us pay extra amount. SO now the people paying for airfare, accomodation, visa, insurance and site seeing and the 2 people who pay airfare, visa, insurance from their pocket have spent almost the same amount. Thomas cook service is very poor, if we had not asked they would have stood at the middle of nowhere. They are complete cheaters and money only matters for them not customer service quality. We have already sent a mail to their customer service explaining to them and the sales team told the executive to charge us extra for transfers. Miscommunication it seems. at last moment? I would recommend everyone who plans for international tour to think 10 times before choosing Thomas cook.
