To start with the call centre was in india, so the first 2 agents couldn't understand what i was saying. They then managed to find £100 per persons worth of extra charges that they failed to include in the online quote.

Once the holiday was paid for they rang me back an hour later to tel me they needed even more money due to a mistake on their quote. By this time i'd had enough and when i told them to cancel the holiday the agent refused to do so and put the phone down on me.

We're still battling to get this money back

Absolutely disgusting service!

I am having the same problem with getting my money back. If you see my review from a few back, I have not been given any refund yet at all. There has also been a continued avoidance to acknowledge my request for the telephone encounters as well. I am going to the Travel Trust Association for support. Your experience appears similar to mine and it appears that this is not a one off case. I cannot believe that my case has not yet been resolved and the company has still not issued a refund. Teletext did respond on this forum by stating they will look into it, but as of this time I have still not received any money back and sadly no further progress appears to have been made.
