We always book through teletext because it's the cheapest. But this company, I would never call again. It took us 2 days to try and book our holiday and in the end up we just scrolled to the bottom of the page and booked the same holiday through a different agent which cost more but only took 10 minutes.
All we wanted to do was pay for it but they put us on hold every 5 minutes and we were on hold for over 5 minutes every time. At one point they asked for my number to call me back (which they never did every time they said they would) and half way through telling them my number they put me on hold for 7 minutes. I hung up!
I'm very aware that there are extra charges for baggage and transfers but they put on an extra 100 quid per person and said £30 for transfer and £40 for baggage, fair enough, but they couldn't tell me what the other 30 quid was for?
The first time we tried to pay the guy said the computers were down and we'd have to try again in the morning. So we watched the website refreshing the ad for an hour and noticed the price go down and down by over £50. It was as if, when you call about a certain holiday they hike that price up... then once the interest in that particular holiday dies down again, they put the price down to lure you in again.
When we tried to book the holiday, for the second time, (without transfers and baggage saying as they couldn't explain the cost), they took 3 different card details and told us they didn't work. I've just checked all 3 accounts to find that they did work. The £1 transaction, to check the card, worked on all 3 cards. IDIOTS! I was so stressed from calling them all weekend that I can't even be bothered to ring to complain or get my money back. I'm just thankful that the idiot on the end of the phone faked up with taking our money so we didn't end up booking with this useless company!
