I have mixed response on the European splendour tour we had last month. The tour guide Roshan is very informative, caring and helpful. This made our tour very eventful.
The customer service in US and London are really horrible. They have mentioned that they booked a coach for 7 people because of less passengers turned up and I have no place for London sight seeing scheduled for pre tour day. I have flight delay by when the tour did not started and i was wondered about the answer they have given. I have to call them number of times to get this answer.
The customer service in US is even worse that they never do what they say. I have to follow up on things they mentioned that they will get back. The information they give is half cooked. No care for customers.
The extra tours each cost 25 euros. I felt Lugano and elevator tour in Paris are waste of money but Florence is really wonderful. So mixed feelings on extra tours.
The hotel in Rome is really bad. The air condition does not work and it is suffocating. Taj tours know that it is bad and still do the booking there only. May be it works out better for them. Fact that we have to say 2 nights there it is really bad.
Hotels are way away from the attractions that you have to travel distances. But if you equate it with the price it is OK. When you compare with other tours Taj is much cheaper. Not sure if other tours give you hotel near the attractions.
Food is Indian through out except once. They managed to find a indian restaurant every where. Some times we had same menu for 2 days continuously which bored.
