The overall tour was fantastic. Apart from a few troubles everything went well. The tour manager Rayomand was very helpful, polite and had a wonderful collection of jokes, kept everyone entertained. The driver was also very helpful and served us all with a smile.
The itinerary designed by star tours was very relaxing, which we liked. Ample time was given everywhere including lunch and photostop. The local guides were nice as well. We got a chance to see the actual flavours of Spain. We did the day 5 on our own as in the brochure it said its a free day. However, it turned out that the Barcelona city tour which was supposed to be done on day 4 was moved to day 5 :( but we continued with our plans and had a wonderful time and covered all of Barcelona city on our own. Rayomand helped us in planning our itinerary and also assured us that he would do whatever he can if we get in trouble or get lost while we are on our own!!! We really appreciate this! We did everything that was not in the itinerary, for example, flamenco show, bull fight and stadium tour. Rayomand and our driver Enrique helped us to get the tickets and also pre booked taxis after the show which finished at 12am. There was a time when the group was divided for different activities like bull fight, football match and free time in gran via, Madrid. Rayomand helped everyone even though it was not in itinerary and even managed to get packed dinner back for us in the hotel!!
The food was very nice in all three cities.
One thing that we felt was not right was the change of flight departing from heathrow to easy jet from gatwick. Since we were travelling from stoke on Trent we had booked parking and hotel at heathrow and we had to loose all the money and book the same again in gatwick.
More things/activities can be included in the itenerary. Priority boarding should be taken while booking budget flights. This will save a lot of energy and time queuing up at the airport.
As this is a new tour started this year itself, We appreciate how much ever they have done. It will of course take time for a perfect itinerary!
