What a beautiful island, you could feel the history. The island has everything you could wish for. Beautiful scenery, friendly people, good traditional Greek food, you name it Ithaca has it.
The holiday was made even more satisfying because the Villa (The Bay House) we were staying in was located above the capital of Vathy. We would wake up in the morning with this wonderful view of the bay.
Simpsons provide luxury accommodation at very reasonable rates. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that we weren't staying longer. We will certainly be using Simpson gravel again, and will definitely visit Ithaca again.
We have been holidaying in Greece for 30 years and without doubt this was the best accommodation we have stayed in.
