I booked one hotel room in November through Expedia. Immediately, I was double-charged for the room. I cancelled the reservation early, received a valid cancellation confirmation. Now, Expedia states that I must work with their "affiliate," Reservation Counter to resolve the problem. Reservation Counter insists that I must work with Expedia. The hotel states that I must work with Expedia. Three companies are pointing their fingers at one another while keeping my money. DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE ON THESE SITES!!!!! Book through the hotel directly and watch your credit card statements.
