Hotel location (Metropole) on Brighton seafront was fantastic, parking either under the hotel or in NCP carpark next door. Well located within easy walking distance of all bars, clubs etc.
The rooms were obviously not the best rooms in the hotel and were slightly dated. However, they were functional, comfortable and when price and location are factored in, represent exceptionally good value.
Breakfast at the hotel was extremely good, a wide range of cooked and cold dishes on offer from continetal type cold meats to freshly cooked omlettes cooked to order.
The paintballing on the Saturday morning was, I would say average. The organisers seemed a little disorganised and some of the operational things from their point of view could have been better. For instance it was hard to tell who was on your team and who wasn't so maybe some 'Hi-Vis' arm bands would be a good idea instead of coloured caps to the paintball gun. That said, it was a fun morning and helped get rid of a few hangovers.
The go karting at Crawley in the Afternoon was very well organised, great track / venue with up to date karts, friendly and helpful staff, cannot fault really.
The Karting was followed by a curry at Zamdani which was very good value for money and no one went away hungry. One small point however it was a fair distance from the hotel so I would recomend getting a taxi there and back.
Casino was good, I didn't manage to get to the lap dancing club for whatever reason so cannot comment.
Night Club Oceana, as always a top venue / night out.
All in all everyone that went had a great time and I'm sure would thank Eclipse Leisure personally if they could.
