First time experience of all inclusive. We stayed in The Grand Hotel, Sharm el Sheikh, we loved it, the hotel was so clean, they never stop cleaning it. The choice and variety of food was good, nice to have themed restaurants. The hotel surrounds and gardens are beautiful, the staff friendly and very helpful, couldn't do enough for you. Room was good, but a little tired, would not say it was a five star hotel. Although when we reported a problem with our shower it was resolved within 4 hours - brilliant!
It was disappointing that none of the eight pools were heated, which was such a shame as the grounds and pool areas are beautiful and very relaxing, so frustrating when you just want to have a swim. It would have been good to know that the two main bar areas are open to the elements so you need warm clothing for sitting in the bars in January. One enclosed cosy bar would have been a real bonus, we realise that for the majority of the time open air is perfect but not in January.
Overall we got round the problems and had a lovely time, in a very relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Lucy in Customer Services & Mike the manager are doing a great jobs as are the staff.
