BEWARE OF ONTHEBEACH TRAVEL AGENTS!

Booked a holiday with On The Beach in May 2014, but wanted to change hotel. they didn't reply to our change request for 6 days and so we panicked and cancelled as the hotel was filthy! but obviously On The Beach didn't show us that.. we had to find that out ourselves. When we cancelled our holiday they asked for £150 from us to cancel, so we accepted and thought we'd get the other money we paid back but no! they took our whole amount (over £500). This was going to be mine and my boyfriends first holiday together and it was all just taken away. I'm only 18 so that was a lot of money for me. We decided to take On The Beach to a small claims money court and had a very big legal ordeal (which has only just ended!) within which ended up in the judge having to look at our case 3 separate times as there was means for us, but unfortunately we lost as we couldn't afford to pay for a solicitor and obviously they could. We have had all our holiday money taken and now cant afford another holiday, and they have got away with taking all of someones money for them cancelling their holiday. BEWARE OF ON THE BEACH, NOT ONLY HAVE THEY TAKEN ALL OUR MONEY BUT THEY DON'T EVEN ABIDE TO THEIR OWN TERMS AND CONDITIONS- THEY GO BY THE AIRLINES! just avoid them at all costs, you'll have a much more trusted holiday if you just go though someone reliable like Thomas Cook or Easy Jet. I hope this review makes people aware of On The Beach.
