How far is the nearest beach? THERE IS NO BEACH.

Booked a beach holiday with on the beach with free upgrade to sea view villa at Vik Coral Beach Playa Blanca Lanzarote through On The Beach website.
I can't walk far so when I read "How far is the nearest beach?
This beautiful accommodation is located on the beach.". on their listing I thought ideal and with the free upgrade I booked a weeks all inclusive holiday.
On arrival we checked in and went to our villa only to find it was about as far away from the sea as you could get on the resort site and no seaview. we went back to reception we were told there were no Free seaviews and it was just a ploy to encourage bookings by the OTB website. they did say they would move us to a seaview when one came available in four days time. we went back to the villa and unpacked and went for a walk to see the beach. THERE IS NO BEACH just a pile of jagged volcanic rocks as far as you could see. Back to reception and were told that the website mislead you to get more booking but there was a beach about an hours stroll away at Playa Blanca 4 Kms away.
despite the lack of beach the resort was very good and we will go back as it was good value. the addition of a car improved the location.
On our return we emailed OTB to point out the error in their listing on their website also informed the person on their live chat line who didn't like being told and ended the conversation (3 times)
When we were researching another holiday in December Coral beach came up on our searches, One website was on the beach and believe it or not it still lists Vik Coral Beach as "How far is the nearest beach?
This beautiful accommodation is located on the beach." THERE IS NO BEACH.
we did book Vik Coral beach for two weeks but through "Low cost Holidays".
Moral is Don't believe On The Beach look at hotels on Google Earth to actually see the location. or better still find another holiday website.
