I chose 4 stars Hotel in Costa Brava, paid my money, got confimation. Then the letter came, that "due to a system error, all bookings made to this hotel (Caleta Palace) have been confirmed in the Hotel Caleta. We have checked and unfortunately we are unable to confirm the Caleta Palace".
The thing was, that the hotel agency really booked was 1 star, prices of other hotels after a month increased.
After I waited for their answer more than 48 hours, called at their office and talked to them for an hour, no one could help me. They promised to call back, but never did.
I chose other alternatives of the hotels and agency said that they only will cover £50, and I shoud pay extra £175.99... One more thing - the prices which they wrote in a letter of my alternative hotel was higher than shown in official site.
It’s not my fault that there was a system error, I think at least they could do - is provide me with similar hotel, but all I get is £50 cover.
