Booked our flights to Cyprus and only realised about the surcharges after I received the invoice. I called their customer service to complain but was told that the information was there, would I have read their terms and conditions. Well the T&C list cancellations fees and extra charges for amending a booking, but not the Service Fee, the payment card fee, ATOL fee which are disclosed in the invoice after you hit the key 'confirm booking'. At the point of filling in the payment details the 'Total Holiday Cost' displayed still does not include the additional costs! OTB earns a lot of money for doing little work. What's more we cannot reserve our seats with the flight carrier because we processed our booking through OTB.
Well it's an experience to remember and we are going to have a long flight with no seats reserved.
