“Plakias in the heat of a Cretan October”

Written on: 23/10/2013 by alantraveller (1 review written)

Plakias is a delightful small resort on the south west of Crete. The Alianthos beach hotel is family run and many of the staff were there when i first went there in 1997. The food in the hotel is very tasty and they have an excellent a la carte menu. Breakfasts are very generous and tasty.
Crete is hotte in October than UK in mid summer. If you have not been there take a trip and you will not be disappointed although one or two resorts are for 18-13 crowd.
