We have just been to the Mareblue Village in Crete with Olympic Holidays and have had a really fantastic holiday. Our flights were with Monarch and couldn't fault them at all.
The only negative about our whole holiday was the length of the transfer from the airport - it took 1.5 hours to get to our hotel in Hersonissos, we had not expected that length of journey.
The hotel was fully booked when we got there and our hearts sank when they told us we would need to stay at their sister hotel next door - however it literally was only a two minute walk away and we could still use the full facilities of the Mareblue. We were stunned when we realised that the appartment we had been put up in overnight had its own swimming pool - this was a real luxury. The Mareblue went out of their way to apologise for this - although we were very happy and didn't mind at all.
The next day we moved to our new room at the Mareblue and were pleased to find we were at the top of the hill which gave us stunning views of the sea and coastline. Our 2 rooms were large and very quiet - we heard no other families whilst we were in our rooms at all although we know other people were around.
The hotel complex is lovely and caters very well for all ages - our children expecially loved their self contained waterpark onsite whilst my husband and I relaxed at the quiet adults pool.
We can't fault the food at all - always plentiful, hot and very well cooked. We have some fussy eaters in our family and all were happy :)
The staff work incredibly hard and are very friendly.
Although we did not see our Olympic reps in the resort at all - we always knew they were available at the end of the telephone if we needed them.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definitely recommend Olympic holidays.
