Although the apartments were extremely basic, they are fine for those who just want somewhere to crash at night...just ask Eftichia to rent a fan and away you go. Eftichia makes amazing cakes and is happy to help, as long as you don't want a full blown conversation as her English is very limited. We loved Kefalos. It is very laid back, (check out the public transport timetables as evidence of this!)the weather was wonderful, the beaches were clean, the food was delicious in every restaurant we tried, and the locals are all helpful and very friendly. After holidaying in Turkey for the last few years it was a refreshing change to have a totally hassle-free holiday. We would higly recommend Sebastians and the Golden Fleece for wonderful food and a friendly family welcome. We would definitely visit again. Our Olympic rep Etty was also extremely approachable, very helpful, and made our departure easy and worry free, so thank you very much Olympic!!
