After a hectic period of travelling on business, we needed some quiet and comfort for complete relaxation. Two weeks at the Columbia Beach Hotel proved to be just the ticket. The hotel was exceedingly comfortable, with air conditioned rooms and stunning views from the balcony. The food was consistently good while providing a variety of tempting dishes. The choice of the very welcoming pool and surround or the adjacent private stretch of beach was the hardest decision we had to make throughout our time there, with both being clean and well serviced.
The hotel provided a range of activities and evening entertainment, which never became obtrusive, were well managed and good fun.
The real bonus was the staff, all of whom were kind, attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and they took care to remember us and our preferences. They arranged car hire for us at short notice, when we had been let down and without a surcharge or any hassle.
