As a total last minute thought, my partner and i decided to look and see if we could afford a week in Mykonos for his birthday - not at all expecting to ! We found an absolutely AMAZING deal on the Olympic webiste with a great discount, although as we had always stayed in Mykonos Town before, we weren't too sure about the location of Petinos Apartments in Platy Gialos. We decided to give it a go.... and we were not disappointed at all. Although relatively basic, as yoou would expect in Greece, the studio was a decent size with huge terrace and literally 2 mins from the beach (and indeed boats to other deaches if we wanted). We were also literally right next to the bus stop to town. Could not have asked for more !
We had a fantastic time and would recommend Petinos in Platy Gialos to anyone who fancies a little different flavour from their Mykonian experience !
