We normally book our holiday indepedently as we find most tourist companies are hopeless. However, we booked via Olympic Holidays and travelled to Arillas in Greece. Our 'rep' thought it acceptable to leave us on the bus (everyone else was going to Sidari)and let the bus driver take us to Arillas. Firstly, why were we not dropped off at the crossraods and alternative transport arranged if we were the only couple going to Arillas? Secondly, is that an acceptable level of service from a rep who has a duty of care to ensure ALL clients are taken to their selected destination?

The accomodation we were provided was worse. Sockets coming off the walls, broken wardrobe doors - all in all, UNFIT for purpose. We took photographs and left. We found a lovely hotel in Arillas.

When we took it up with Olypic Holidays (including photographs), they were worse than useless. I also wrote to trading standards. The apartments these tourist operators think are acceptable are most certainly not.

I have travelled to Greece for over 20 years and I understand the difference between BASIC accomodation and DANGEROUS. Olypmic Holidays should be investigated by Trading Standards if this is the level of accomodation they think is acceptable to the UK public.
