We have used Olympic holidays a few times before with no problems at all. But we had nothing to complain about. Im sure most people are aware that they previously used Monarch Airlines and we encountered no problems at all always a great flight and no delays.
Well we where due to fly out in september 2011 to Kos but was adviced that our flight had changed to Strategic airlines from Manchester. We where delayed by 2 hours with no reason given we had to be escorted to the aircraft across the apron as the we could not use the air bridge. when we actually boarded the plane i was shocked. it was DISGUSTING. dried milk splatters over the seat covers no fold down table to eat our dinner that we had paid for so had to balance a tray on my lap. the chair reclined and would not stay upright, duct tape was holding seats together , the toilet leaked into the aisle. i complained to the flight stewardess and was just given a customer service number for Olympic. it was ridiculous. When we did complain to Olympic about the plane they didnt care. and just told us to put it in writting within 30 days.
so i did but received no reply.
We spoke to Olympic since as we love where we go and told them we would not fly with them again if they only have Strategic . We have since booked another holiday....i know glutton for punishment but flying with small planet....... worried.
