Trying to cancel a flight and request a refund was awful. Contacting the company is complicated for this matter and amazingly there's no easy online way to cancel a flight. I was kept waiting on hold to connect for 40 mins and then again inter-department for 145 mins (international call rates as I was cancelling from within Melbourne) and then told to email an entirely different department to cancel my flight and request refund. The refund, although only covered the tax, has not yet been received (cancelled October).
why do online companies as big as this not provide basic user service.
