Like other reviews, they were very helpful prior to booking, however, as soon as we had paid it was a different story.
They failed to book us on the return flight which we had paid for and which we had the invoice for which resulted in us having to pay a further £235. We wrote a complaint letter upon returning to be told we would receive a repsonse within 28 days.......
40 days later and still nothing - so many emails and calls were made with very little response.
They had actually booked the supposed flights via Thomsons so I am also in contact with them who are trying to get to the bottom of it for us. Apparently, Media Travel have told them it was their mistake for providing the wrong reference number but when we were at the airport they even looked for our names on the system and we werent booked on the return flight so it doesnt matter about the reference number! We obtained proof off Thomsons that we had to pay again and sent this to Media Travel along with our original complaint letter, the documentation they had sent us via email saying we had the return flight, invoices etc but they did not acknowledge this and are now saying they need the proof off Thomsons which we have already provided!!!!!!
I would highly recommend anyone NOT to use this company - Media Travel/Truly Travel/Low Cost Packages/Holiday Line Direct/Travel Club and any other names they decide to use!!!!
Anyone already booked with Media Travel - be aware!!!!!
