After pre-purchasing a travel voucher worth over $2k to Bali through travelzoo.com/au I called ME Travel to book my preferred dates (as instructed on the voucher).
The representative who answered the phone was unfriendly, spoke in a bored monotone and proceeded to spell out their email address even when I confirmed that I had it. She told me to send an email and when I asked why I couldn't just book over the phone, she told me that they had just opened for the day and that I would be on hold for a long time.
Two days after sending the email with no response, I've called again and been told by the same representative to send another email with the voucher attached. Not impressed that it took for me to call and follow up, instead of simply getting an email response to request this. Neither she nor the voucher gave these instructions and she refused to accept responsibility.
Still waiting on a response. Completely unacceptable service for a travel agent. Spend your money with a company that cares.
