I had booked my flight to Mumbai with AI via Lycafly, six months before my scheduled departure. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic occurred just before my flight date, and I contacted Lycafly to find out about my options. The representative informed me that my flight had not been cancelled yet, and if it was cancelled, I wouldn't be entitled to a refund. They advised me to cancel my flight to receive a partial refund for the flight tax. However, I later found out that this advice was wrong. Had I not cancelled my flight and AI cancelled it, I would have been entitled to a full refund. The flight was eventually cancelled by AI, which Lycafly had expected. I only received a part of the partial refund that I was promised by Lycafly, and I have been chasing payment of £117.27 for the remaining amount. I have sent at least six emails and made countless calls to follow up, but I have not received any response from Lycafly. The last person I spoke to promised to get back to me in 10 working days, but it has been six months since then, and I have not received any response, even after CC'ing him on emails. It is important to note that Lycafly did not cancel my flight, and they received a full refund, but only gave me a part of the partial refund that I was promised. This has been a pricey lesson. I would avoid this travel agent.

Absoultely horrible company. My flight got cancelled and they still charged me 30 pounds cancellation fee and the guy said that they have to run their business. Such a stupid argument. You are charging me service fee for a cancelled flight. Avoid them. They got poor customer service abroad and the guys are not trained to do their job.

“The most terrible experience I have ever had. Booked a ticket with them and got a different date, called to cancel just 5mins after and was told cancellation and refund isn't possible. Now left at their mercy, paid an extra £150 and £102 for a date change only to be given the same date I had paid money to change and left with emotional trauma due to bullying from their senior. How this company still trade beats me. What a shame!

I have sent at least 20 emails to them. They just fob me off saying they have to wait for Thai Airways to pay them. When times are hard and I need the £800 I am still waiting. Like other reviews they advertise a much cheaper price to lure you in, and then stitch you up when your stressed. I have a few responses but they do not care, unfortunately no choice but to take it to court.

They did offer the price just few pounds under the average price after you give your information to book the price changed with £200.

They will make million excuses if they need to refund you. Infact, they will not refund you at all. Not trustworthy at all. Please do not book you tickets with them and get duped.

Himanshu from Lycafly mentioned that we will get refund in December for which we exchanged several emails. Its been 7months that I haven’t received any refund!!!

I had a bad experience. I booked online and after 15 mins I got a call from LycaFly that mam do one the pay us £15 more for each ticket and you will get your first change free. I paid £15 extra. but due to some of my personal reason, I call LycaFly to change my booking. and they ask me £110 pound for each member (i booked 5 tickets). And then they start making excuses. I ask manager Sidharth to listen to all phone call recording where LycaFly staff offer us free change but he said may his staff said it by mistake and he is not ready to anything on their mistake just end up paying them extra. Highly poor service. never ever recommend to anyone.

LycaFly failed to inform me about my Kuwait Airways flight schedule change in Kuwait airport even though Kuwait Airways informed LycaFly well in advance. So I was stranded in Kuwait airport for over 15 hours for no fault of mine & NO COMPENSATION PROVIDED FOR THEIR MISTAKE. The layover as per my ticket in Kuwait airport was less than 5 hours only. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH LYCAFLY. WOULD NEVER BOOK ANY TICKET WITH LYCAFLY.

Initially I was quite happy however due to having an elderly father and partner both with underlying health issues therefore with the Coronavirus it is not advisable for either of them to fly. Having saved for long time to take my dad back to the country he was born to see his elderly sisters before he dies we have decided not to cancel but to postpone until October. I contacted Lycafly who arranged flights for October which cost me £1033 extra plus another £150 for taxes. I paid, agreed the flights, got a receipt for both the payments then 2 hours later I was contacted by Lycafly again to say I cannot go in October and have to go in August which is going to cost me another £800. I have put an official complaint in last Thursday 5th March which has not even been acknowledged so a sent it again early this week - still nothing. Yesterday I had an e-mail from the sales person stating the booking for April is still there and I can only go in August "which is more expensive" Absolutely disgusted. My families health is at risk and this may be the last time my father gets to see his family. I have paid for October tickets and not getting them. Disgusting.

Poor service and organisation. Won’t recommend it at all..stay away from lycafly. When called the customer service centre , the reply was not helpful and very poor consideration for customers. They don’t know how to deal with customers and are not ready to accept their mistake at all.

Wish I read this before booking with them. After paying £2330.00 online for my business class flight they called and refused to process the booking saying the price had gone up by a further £100.00. I was forced to pay then felt angry and asked for my money back which of course they were not prepared to do.,

The "customer service" advisors cannot even understand and answer basic questions nor do they know what a complaints policy is!! Managers are "not available". I was charged £370 (negotiated down from £490) extra to confirm the flight or pay £400 to cancel when they're the ones wanting more money! Hardly an option or choice like they kept insisting!!!!! Funny thing is i got a writing quote about 7 hours after by calling them and it was only about £100 more

Lycafly is a pathetic company with disappointing service. They would offer you cheap prices and grab money from you, but then are unable to provide you tickets from airline. Not only this, they will keep on lying with you that your ticket is confirmed and will waste your time for at least 24-48 hours. So the prices of tickets would again jump higher. At the end of this saga, they will apologise with you and when you ask for refund, they will take 15-30 days to refund you the money. What a pathetic, disappointing and disgraceful service. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME ON LYCAFLY!!!!

My advice - DO NOT BOOK with this company! We purchased our flights and after being told the flight layover time had changed we enquired about changing to a later flight. They said they would look into this and ring us back. They then rang us back and told us that if we changed to a later flight we would have to pay £1151! When we told them we were not happy to pay they told us that while we had been considering changing we had been taken off our original flights and our seats had been re-sold to other people (later found this to be untrue), They told us our ONLY OPTION was to pay £1,151 immediately or we could be waiting in the airport for up to 5 days as ALL other flights were full (obviously also untrue). We were told that we had to pay straight away because there were only 8 seats left on that flight (yep - you've guessed it - also untrue! There were actually 54 seats left in our required class). When I asked they told me that they record all calls - but when I asked for a copy of the recorded call they said that they only record a few calls and of course, mine wasn't one of them! This company has lied to us in order to get extra money from us. They have been recorded to the CAA and Trading Standards.

I cannot stress enough that you should NOT book flights with this company. I booked flights to Orlando, and received a competitive quote. After searching around, I decided to go ahead and book with LycaFly. After they had received my funds, I was informed that the cost had increased by nearly £300 per person. At this point, everything was perfectly amicable, and they even looked at different options. After declining all of the other options due to the dates or price increase not being doable, I simply asked for a refund. I was then informed that they had paid my money to the airline for the more expensive flights regardless, and any refund would result in me losing £150 per person. To say I was mortified is an understatement. I argued the fact that we had agreed on a contract of flights being one price, and then booking flights at £300 more per person is completely their fault, but they were uninterested. Speaking with management to resolve the situation has been near impossible, constantly being passed around from pillar to post. My e-mails to customer services have gone unanswered, and to this moment, I am still awaiting for this to be resolved and a refund to be issued. I was guilty of being tempted by a quote that was literally too good to be true, and we've all been there! But i would sincerely recommend to anyone thinking of bookin their flights with LycaFly to NOT DO SO and book either direct with the airline or a more reputable company. After completing some research, I can see that I am not the first customer to be 'caught' by them in this method. I don't want people to be 'shammed' in the same way I have been, and urge you to not book with them!

No one should book the ticket from this company. Airline schedule changed but never told me .unhelpfull and very poor service from the helpdesk.i had to do it with the airline. This company should be banned.untrustworthy

Despicable company, gave me wrong flight times, told me it was my fault and asked for money £50 to change them. I asked to speak with supervisor, not available, they will call me back. This obviously did not happen, so called back 2 hrs later, the phone system crashed said they were closed and phone back in a few hrs, this was already 11pm. So waited till 7 am and called and explained situation, guy again said it was my fault and now because it was more than 12 hrs wanted £100 to change them plus extra if flight costs had changed in time frame. Hope this makes sense ! I will never use them again to book anything, and I'd advise you not to either, zero customer service and the provider is always right , not the customer.

There are no flights to Doha from Abu Dhabi. Everyone travelling via Doha from Abu Dhabi have had flights rescheduled. I have been contacting lycafly since the 5th June to get back to UK. Initially lycafly had no clue about the international middle east crisis! I am now waiting for lycafly to contact me again today. I have emailed them numerous times with no response. In response to your message below Lycafly: yes you contacted me. I have proof in all emails. Telephone calls should be revorded. You asked me if I knew what was going on with the situation with the flights and If I could get any further information which I did. YOU SAID IN YOUR RESPONSE YOU WOULD BE IN CONTACT. No one from lycafly contacted me. I made my own arrangements to get back to the UK. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. LYCAFLY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING. AVOID THEM!!!!

... have used them once last year for my travel this year. got the cheapest return flight via emirates. received my ticket numbers within 24 hours. went to emirates website to confirm my tickets, there it was. i have already been back from my holiday, everything went well. i am happy to recommend and definitely will use again. i also received a credit for lyca mobile but i'm on a different mobile network therefore was not used.
