Stayed at the Grand Central Hotel in Dubai, travelled with Emirates Airlines.
The hotel not that busy so the rooftop pool (perfectly sized) was ours most of the time. The breakfast was varied and tasted decent. The restaurant food at the hotel was incredibly cheap (£5 per meal ish) but sooooooo tasty.
Dubai on the whole was so brilliant. Loads to do, especially as we prebooked excursions with lowcostholidays. All vouchers and pick ups went without a hitch. Flawless service.

Now onto the most important part - the customer service. Britain needs to take note because the UAE treated us like princes! I was so impressed and humbled by the mutual respect shown by staff.
