Took Money but didnt make booking with hotel!

Lowcost Holidays took my money when i was making a hotel booking for a client.
My booking was completed and a booking reference was sent to me under my name and my clients name.

When my client arrived at hotel, There was no record of any booking being made and there were no available Rooms in the hotel. I was forced to call Lowcost Holidays on a Saturday evening to try and get to the bottom of it. They were less than helpful (with the call centre being in Malaga or somewhere similar), They were confused as to why it wasnt myself checking in to the hotel and why it was under my clients name.. even though the hotel had no record of the bookigng at all.. so this question was irrelevant. When making the booking originally i was forced to put my name down as the lead guest as bank details had to match.. so my clients name was put down as second guest.

Lowcost Holidays ended up passing the buck.. saying my client had booked in to the hotel whilst i was on the phone to them..

Any way.. The Hotel itself finally gave up and managed to arrange another room.. which apparently it was not obliged to do.

Will not be using them again!
