worst managment ever

arrived there around 12:30 at night to be shown to our room and immediately noticed a peculiar odour on investigating we found a drain cover outside our balcony which was below floor level. then because of the heat we had to leave the doors open the noise from the bar which was outside our room and not the pool view as advertised. decided to go buy some cold drinks for the hot night ahead only to find that the whole of the freezer compartment was one solid ice block and has never been defrosted or was broken ! enough was enough I decided to complain to the young man in reception who informed me that he would change our rooms the following morning we put up with the bar staff throwing crates against our bedroom wall in the early hours and the security lighting shining into our bedroom that night which was like daylight in the thought we would be moved to a different room?. what a fool I was believing that they would keep to their word we were approached by a rep selling excursion's informing us that the hotel manager had asked him to inform us that the hotel was over booked and there was no where for us to swap rooms i approached the bar staff for the security key to the wi fi for me to contact the holiday company I purchased the holiday from and the code given did not work and he did not have time for us. the young man in reception just told us that he could only follow instructions and there was none concerning our room number we spent all of the first day of our holidays finding a new apartment in all of my 33 visits to icmeler I would not recommend this place.
