After booking an All Inclusive holiday with Lowcost Holidays which should have cost £1,145.00, we realised on our bank statement several weeks later that they have actually charged nearly £1,900.00, even though it clearly shows everything on the paperwork. The bank statement clearly shows that Lowcost Holidays took out the correct amount and Easy Jet took out the extra money.
May I add that at no time whatsoever did we give permission for Lowcost Holidays to pass on our bank details to any other party, so what they have done is illegal.
I spent nearly 1 hour on the telephone trying to get this sorted. After being passed from department to department and speaking to almost every nationality, I was eventually transferred back to the main number and the start again. I eventually got to speak to a helpful man who could clearly see that they have charged too much money. He admitted that it was the mistake of Lowcost Holidays (not Easy Jet) and I was told that I had to basically waste yet more of my time and put everything in an email, which I did straight away.
Needless to say, I have heard nothing back from them and we are still missing our money. We will now more than likely have to get the money back through the bank, as well as take legal action against Lowcost Holidays.
Basically, if you want your bank details to be passed on to third parties without your permission, and want to have hundreds of pounds stolen from you, then use Lowcost Holidays. If you have a brain then use another company, even if they appear slightly more expensive.
