We have not even been on holiday yet and are dreading it already.

12 days ago we booked our holiday. A week later we are told that our chosen hotel was not available and we had to choose somewhere else. We were sent a very poor choice of alternative hotels, two of them don't even have reviews on the Loveholidays website. Our needs were very specific due to the poor mobility of a member of our group and we had taken a lot of time to choose our hotel. The alternatives offered are of poor quality and are not suitable for our group. We have been offered no other solution. We are not able to change resort to find a more suitable hotel. We have been told that we should have read the T&C's and can either accept one of the alternatives provided or loose our money. No apology was offered. How can this be fair? Love holidays cannot fulfill our booking but will not offer a refund or a decent alternative that meets our needs.

I would compare this to ordering a new car in blue but being given one in red ..... Totally unacceptable.

I am really sorry to hear about this experience that you had.

It isn't common to have a hotel become unavailable but it can happen occasionally and I am sorry that this happened to you.
