I am in Australia, coming to the UK in July/August this year for a visit. Part of the visit would be a tour to the WW1 battle fields and a stop at TYNE COT to pay our respects to the our relatives named on the memorial. We looked at at Leger tours reviews, not too impressed, any recommendations?

Thanks for answering this question.

we were not impressed with them. we paid to upgrade the coach but only received this service at the ferry taking us abroad(one of the coaches was so old it was falling apart!). we had several changes of transport before reaching this particular coach including waiting for one coach at a bus stop for nearly an hour in the freezing cold then another 20 minutes wait for another. the hotel was on the outskirts of Brussels which meant we had to use the coach to take us to the Xmas markets in the centre of town whereupon they tried to sell us excursion trip around Brussels - which was all within walking distance! they did not point out to us the most important market which we found by chance. I developed gastro enteritis and their representatives were not in the least bit interested. after the trip I developed the flu (as did a couple of others we travelled with)- a result of standing in the freezing cold. Eurolines (part of National express coaches) go to Europe but I don't know if they do 'tours' but I am sure you could arrange a tour from the town you go to? hope this is helpful to you. safe journey
