Having made a booking that I wished to cancel, I called at 9.15pm as I couldn't cancel online. The person I spoke to tried to call the establishment, but they were closed for the evening. I was promised that it would be dealt with the next morning.
By lunchtime the next day, I hadn't heard anything, nor received a cancellation confirmation, so I called. The person I spoke to this time acknowledged that a callback should have been made, but hadn't been, then proceeded to call the establishment, and managed to cancel the booking without incurring any of the published cancellation charges. Result!
