Needed a place to stay overnight - it was dark and raining and I had missed the place I was originally looking for.
Connected to LateRooms website and searched for local guest houses. Gave a good list for the surrounding area which you can filter on price/distance/reviews. Found one a few miles away and completed the online booking using my phone browser. Didn't want to spend time reading all the small print on my phone screen so thought I had paid already with my credit card. Had a picture of guest house so I knew what it looked like - arrived a few minutes later and was asked to pay by debit or credit or cash. Queried this, thinking I was being asked to pay twice, but was advised that my booking details were for ensuring that I had reserved a place and not for payment - so then signed my invoice slip without any qualms.
