I once book a room through online system, to my shocking suprise we were told no booking was made when we arrive for check-in despite the booking had been paid. And I never tried another online booking after that. It's been 5 years ago. I decide to give another try with online booking with LateRoom.com, once you send me on confirmation of booking, I call the hotel because I don't want to take things for granted anymore. The hotel confirm my booking. The hotel call to remind me of my booking to reconfirm my booking 2 days before arrival date.
Now I believe that online booking can be real again.
