Tired of screaming at your computer? Fed up of jabbing an irritated finger at a poor little defenceless mouse because the web site or program you've been trying to use for the last two hours has just bombed out and you're back to square one...?
We'd had quite enough aggravation from inexcusably bad I.T. these first few weeks of 2013 (at work and at home) so decided the answer lay in a de-stressing trip to North Wales - never fails to fix things - but that meant going on-line once more, which is where we'd started.
Wasn't worried, though, the Late Rooms site has never given us any trouble in the past, and this time was no exception; we discovered our favourite hotel had just reduced their prices for the weekend and within five minutes we had two room booked, complete with special requirements. No fuss, no raised blood pressure - it just works. Exactly as one would wish.
All of that is pretty enough, but of no earthly benefit if it doesn't translate into action; as ever, though, we arrived at our Late Rooms hotel to find that we were all expected, the rooms were ready to our needs - nothing out of place to sour the experience.
It's not the biggest deal in the world, finding and booking a hotel online, but there's a whole host of other stuff that's less important or less difficult (or so one would think) in everyday life that doesn't go this well; the Late Rooms site has been 100% reliable in our experience, and couldn't be quicker or easier to use.
Haven't used it for an overseas stay thus far but when the need arises, will do so without hesitation.
May have to 'borrow' the Late Rooms team and introduce them to a few people ; think about it for a second - how many utterly atrocious web sites have you used today...?
Will end there; have to go back to trying to pay for a package holiday, online (final day to pay the balance, we've been trying for TWO WEEKS but the website has been 'experiencing difficulties'... - need I say more?).
