we reciently stayed at the queens park hotel in london and our room had bed bugs and the service was poor and we were lied to by the staff (without going into it, worst nigh ever)...and late rooms refused to post out review was it mentioned bed bugs. therefore the reviews you see have been edited and if people mention something bad it gets filtered. also the hotels the reviews are run past the hotels first so they can ask for some not to be posted. we use laterooms a lot and yeah, everyone knows the 'discount rate' is usually the normal rate, but thats down tot he hotels, not laterooms. so laterooms is ok for booking, but cheak trip advisor for a true representation before you do!
