I booked an end of summer holiday treat for my nine year old to go and see We Will Rock You using lastminute. This was three days before the performance. One hour and 15 mins before the performance was due to start I got a call from their agent telling me they had sold me tickets for a performance that didn't exist. We had already travelled to London and were trying to enjoy lunch when this bombshell hit. My son was devastated and very tearful. All they would offer me was a full refund or tickets for a later performance on the same day which we couldn't attend because it was too late for my son. I refused to take either offer but their agent refused to transfer me to his superior. There followed numerous calls where I was at pains to explain how they had inconvenienced me and caused a lot of upset. It was finally accepted that they would organise tickets for me to attend an alternative performance to suit me with them picking up the additional cost. However, I've not been compensated for our wasted travel, wasted day or the upset caused. Never, ever again will I use lastminute. Their facebook page is littered with complaints and as it was their error, I should not have had to fight with them to get adequately compensated with equivalent tickets that I could use. Very, very cross and upset. Not surprisingly there is nothing on their site about their management structure or how to get in touch. A corporate team that doesn't want to take responsibility which speaks volumes.
