After booking our flights to Croatia, due to a death in the family myself and the kids had to travel early. As a result I was speaking to Last minute.com who told me that due to me not using an original flight the return flight will be cancelled. The only option they gave me was to simply buy extra three tickets. They were not concerned about our return to England and were of no help at all. They refused to change our tickets from a return to a single one, which I was told by Lufthansa that it is possible.
They are useless and I will never use them again. What a sham of the company.
