I always try not to write negatives reviews, but my experience with this company is just far below any expectation. I have bought a 2 groupon vouchers for a Amsterdam trip, with travel in may. Their terms and conditions stated that "Bookings are non-transferrable and noncancellable once confirmed." I picked a dates I wanted, and later was contacted by an agent who informed that they have no availability on a chosen dates. “Drop you after you've given them your money”

So our experience with KPX was fine, our hotel was nice (although there was no free wifi like we were told) the northern lights was beautiful etc etc. until we had to return home. Our booking confirmation said return flight at 9am. Leaving our hotel at 5.30am to arrive in plenty of time - to see our flight already boarding.. With no other flight until 15.40.. “Hidden Costs with Groupon”

We got a groupon voucher for 2 nights in Berlin. When we tried to book and were told that we could only get flights arriving at midnight on the first night and leaving at 6 in the morning on the last day, so we wouldn't get any full nights at the Hotel, and would only get 1 day in Berlin. I have booked a two night break to Barcelona via groupon with KPX travel. I was told at booking that I could change the hotel at an extra cost if I would like to. “KPX Travel. Football tickets to Barcelona Worthless!”

“Avoid!! Hiden costs even using a Groupon deal!”

We found on Groupon an offer from Stansted to Granada with flights, hotel and breakfast included for 3 days for £200. We called KPX to confirm the dates we wanted were available and if it was possible to change our return flight from the 29 to the 31 of March, before buying the Groupon. Can I just say that you need to write to ABTA to excalate this and I understand that Groupon are refunding your origional amount to you. They are part of the ABTA regulation so cannot take money from you without permission. THis is illegal along with getting fined from ABTA for this so I don't think they would do this. We had a bad experience but not as bad as this. As there telephone conversations are recorded send a Suject Access Request for £10 and they need to supply this within 40 days otherwise you can get the Information Commission (Freedom of Information Act) to enforce it without any cost to you or you needing to go to court. This would provide you with enough information to take them to a small claims court for the extra money you paid. There si no doubt you would get this back. Also excalate the complaint to the freedom travel group.

Before I booked a Groupon to Budapest I phoned KPX to find out availability. I was told for the weekend and the times I wanted to go there would be no problem. “Same Story. Nothing Changes”

I have had a similar experience. Booked yesterday a 4 night trip half board and stupidly did not check the review as it is clear this company are sharks. While we were booking it my husband took over to say that we cannot flight out from Gatwick and back into Stansted at midnight as we cannot get home (unless we stay the night in a hotel £50 and get public transport back to home which is £60 for two people so and extra £100 on top of the trip). Hello I just wondered how your claim was going? I have sent the below email to KPX Travel and surprise, surprise it has been rejected as recipient unknown. I have contacted my credit card company and they have instructed me to do this.

booked a holiday through you last night under total false information. I contacted KPX Travel to make sure there was availability for the Groupon deal to Marrakesh. It was confirmed there was relevant availability, so I said that I would purchase the groupon deal then call them back. I was informed there was no need to do this as I could just book it straight away at the same price.



You took my credit card details then informed me that the hotel wasn't available, and I was sold a hotel at £50 more than the deal, being told it was a 4 star and better hotel. This is not the case as upon checking the hotel is a 3 star. I then checked your website and other websites and there was indeed availability for the original hotel that was in the offer. This is total false information and indeed ilegal.



I have contacted your customer service department and cannot get through. I have left 2 messages with your reservations team who said customer services was busy and they would call me back. I have not heard from you.



I hereby write to you asking for a full refund. I have received no confirmation of my booking which I was promised. If I do not receive a full refund of £563 I will take you to the small claims courts and contact ABTA.



I am most upset with the treatment I have received by KPX Travel.

They said that neither of the two hotels (which looked really nice and in central location) were available so had to go with another which they also said was 4 star. Hello,
I just wondered how you are getting on with your claim? This has happened to me only last night. I have emailed them asking for a full refund or I will contact ABTA.

They have taken the payments from my credit card one lot from easyjet and another from KPX travel. I have contacted my credit card company this morning and they informed me that I need to contact them asking for a full refund. If I do not get a response in 30 days to call them and they will carry out an investigation.

When I emailed ABTA they said they wouldn't do anything as they said they had done nothing wrong! Am writing to KPX a second time but haven't mentioned that ABTA are not interested. You may be in a better position as your credit card company may refund the money. I used a debit card so am almost resigned to being £50 out of pocket.

“Totalally useless”

I bought a groupon deal worth a reported £520 when I tried to book my holiday I was told I would have to pay an extra £100 for the flight. As it happens I have since found out that the total flight cost was only £120 meaning that either the hotel cost £100 per night or I have been done by KPX Travel. I was unable to go on the holiday and am looking to claim through my travel insurance however KPX Travel are not very forthcoming in supplying and Invoice for the cost of the holiday. “TERRIBLE COMPANY AVOID !!!!”

Totally mismanaged my family booking to Egypt. . Increased prices AFTER booking and paying. The sales people seemed to have a limited grasp of the English language but what was far far worse was the attitude of the management. Rude, discourteous, and aggressive to deal with. “This was my first time and most certainly will be my last”

I booked a holiday from a Groupon voucher which had kpx travel as the travel agents. I phoned them up to complete my booking and was told I had to pay an extra £172 to get my flights from Manchester instead of London. I bought a groupon deal not realising KPX was the agent I had to book through, in order to get my money back, I'll have to refund my groupon voucher, which is now impossible because I redeemed the voucher.
