Before I booked a Groupon to Budapest I phoned KPX to find out availability.
I was told for the weekend and the times I wanted to go there would be no problem.
The deal finished at midnight and at 09.00 the next morning I phoned KPX Travel to book the dates and was told that those dates had already gone and so had the hotel we wanted. The gentleman I dealt with was very rude and it was really difficult to understand what he was saying as his accent was so thick.

We were offered another hotel miles out of the city or we could have one in the city but we would have to pay for the upgrade.
I refused to pay the extra and asked how the flights I wanted had been booked as I was phoning at 9am, when no one else would have had time to book the dates.
The flights that he wanted to book us on would mean we arrived at 9pm and on our last day we would have to leave at 6am so not really a three night four day break!I was told that if I wanted to get the better flights then I would have to pay.
I told him that that wasnt the deal and if I couldnt go on the flights and times I wanted then I would cancel the booking as it had been mis represented.
I was then told that he could get us on a direct flight on the Thursday (which would take me over part of the weekend) as compensation, the other flights I would have had to change plane (where I dont know!)
We paid for a city tour but this had not been booked when we got to our hotel.
We were told to pay for it and they would refund us on our return which I have to say they did after a number of phone calls and emails.
I refused to pay for a more expensive hotel.
I have just booked another trip, this time to Rome and have unfortunately booked it through Groupon with KPX Travel........... Again I had the difficulties with the silly flight times and a poorer hotel further out. Again I refused to pay the extra and demanded different flights.
I have to say we have been told that we have then.......however I am still waiting for my confirmation in writing and have already made a few phone calls and am now going to try an email.....wish me luck!
Next time I will check who the travel company is and will definately never travel with KPX Travel again.
