Please, please, please from the bottom of my heart DO NOT entertain using this company for booking your holiday.
I booked a surprise trip to Rome for my girlfriend but within a few of hours of booking I realised I had made an error with the dates and had to cancel it.
Firstly during my experience of booking the holiday the price on Ice lolly soon became a distant memory as the price just keep getting higher and higher as all of the random charges kept getting added. Once I finally agreed the holiday it was some £150 more than the price quoted for on the comparison site. The operative took my payment then within minutes called me back, said there was an error with the flight and had to add another £60 onto the trip for new flights, coincidentally at exactly the same time as the previous ones! The guy on the phone said as a gesture of good will they would put us in a room with a sea view. Sea view, we were going to Rome!????? I knew my girlfriend wanted to go so I stupidly paid the extra and booked it.
The issue then came when I needed to cancel. I canceled within 12 hours of making the booking and Jet2 airlines refunded me the full amount of the flight less £40 in admin fees, fair enough. These Jetline companies would only refund me 50% so within the space of 12 hours I had lost £250.
I tried to explain but the call centre were having none of it. All Foreign with so called English names, blatantly in India or somewhere. Said the terms say I could only get 50%. Rude, horrible people on the phone and 0 customer service.
I really hope anyone thinking of booking with this company reads this review first and doesn't go anywhere near them. They are disgusting towards their customers and you would be better off paying a premium and using a reputable company.
