We found the Jetline travel company via iceloly.com website. Rang the number to book a week away int he sun. The price was reasonable , so we started to book it. We kept getting different people ringing us up to say that the flight we originally required had now gone up by £29 by Monarch (not the company them selves of course!) Then they added on an online check in payment of £28 each, and further admin fees were added on as well as the transfers - this was getting beyond a joke and was taking the price up to the price it would have been to book the holiday with a trusted travel agent. I then stated that we did not want to go with those details as the price had changed, the flights had changed (so we were losing over a full day!) I was then treat extremely badly and the people on the other end of the phone were obviously not based in the Uk. I was getting very upset and they took money form the bank card (without our permission!) I tried to explain but they were very rude and did not allow me the chance to explain and complain! I tried until 11pm when they closed and then had a night of sleep lost as I was stressing over the fact that they had acted like this and taken our money! I spent the whole of the following day ringing them and trying to resolve the matter and get my money back. It was costing me money to phone the company and they kept passing me from one person to another. NO flights or accommodation had been booked and there was no reference number for me/my booking. After the whole day trying to get the situation resolved they refunded me £100 meaning that they had kept over £200 for admin fees!!!!!!????
The company tell lies by saying that they had booked the flights and accommodation and saying they had recordings to prove I had allowed them to take the money from my account (which I did not!)
The reviews that they have received are true and they should be avoided at all costs.
they advertise the low cost holidays to entice people into booking with them. But then they add on all the extra amounts to make up their commission and this is where the problems lie. They do not budge when challenged believe me I tried soo hard but it got so stress full.
PLEASE AVOID THE COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
I wish that I had read the reviews which are on her saying the company did the same thing to them!!!
I hereby state that this information is true and happened to me within the last 2 weeks.
