Six of us booked for Iberostar Lanzarote Park for September 2016 to celebrate my 60th, 10 of us stayed previously in September of this year after we had recommended it, the hotel was due to close for refurbishment, we decided it would be nice to stay at this hotel again to experience the changes being brought in, we received an email from Jet 2 yesterday to say that the refurbishment was taking longer than they originally expected and would therefore not reopen until 1st October, they had provisionally booked us into another hotel but reading the reviews decided we did not want to go there, we phoned Jet 2 customer services to ask to change date of holiday to 13th October and was told it would be an extra £340 per couple, they didn't seem to care when I said I was not paying this and cancelled
