Unreliable & expensive transfers

Having booked a holiday to Krakow for New Year, we decided it would be nice to pay for arranged transfers to and from our hotel. We paid about £44 extra for this. At the airport, the driver approached us and told us to wait while he brought his vehicle to the door. He never came back for us and we had to exchange some money at the Airport in order to pay £19 for a taxi.

When we arrived back home, we wrote an email to Jet2 explaining what had happened. We received a letter a couple of weeks later apologising for the mix-up as the driver was 'confused' as to which passengers he had to pick up and offered us an 'enclosed cheque' for £16.12. Apart from this obviously being unsatisfactory, there was no cheque enclosed. We sent another letter by recorded delivery explaining that this did not cover our extra costs as well as there being no cheque enclosed. Received another letter saying they are only prepared to give us £16.12 and enclosed a cheque this time. What a cheek! Jet2 have certainly failed to satisfy their customers this time!
