Flight LS922 home from Dalaman, Turkey should have left at 22.20 on the 28 Sep. 2013. No information given at gate as to how long or why the delay and no rep around. No communication whatsoever from Jet2 At about 2.30 am were told by a very poorly english speaking person we were going to be transferred to hotels 2 hours travel time away. Was told we had no choice and we were not entitled to any food or drink vouchers prior to leaving as we were going to hotels even though at this point we had been delayed over 4 hours and there were families with young children. All Jet2 staff gone home. Had to collect luggage from arrivals then herded to wait for arival of coaches. Still no Jet2 staff. Boarded buses for 2 hour journey to hotel. Hotel filthy with cockroaches and unacceptable standards, not enough rooms for us all which resulted in some staying in reception, Next morning at 11.30 rep arrived not knowing what had happened or even the number of people who were to be picked up. Very rude and abrupt with us all until a min bus arrived that did not have enough seats for us all so we then had to wait for another bus. After another 2 hours travel to airport had to go through the complete check in process again and we were yet again delayed due to there being insufficient desks open. Rep has disappeared in the chaotic confusion. Was given a voucher for KFC but because of the delay at the desks not all got to eat a meal as we were being ushered to the gate. Plane takeoff delayed but then worst to come. Plane staff only had coffee or water to offer us for the complete journey. No food, no duty free, no other drinks or refreshments a complete disgrace. I asked a stewardess why and her answer was we were on a relief aircraft. I would have thought that due to all the frustration and misery they had put us through they would of done more for us on our return journey, but no thats Jet2. I will be putting in a formal complaint and request for compensation in due course
