“Holiday Disappointment With Rear Facing Rooms ”

As usual,Jet2 delivered but,sadly,the Hotel (The Condes De Alcudia)did not.
Having stayed before,we felt confident in booking and taking friends,but the rooms(425 and 429)were quite basic. In room 425 the 2 foot square shower tray was crackedand had a 7 inch mixer tap protruding from the wall.
The drains from the shower and the wash basin were fithy and slow to drain,
and black fungus/scum showed under the toilet bowl rim(which I cleaned as best I could).
There was a 1 ihch gap under the room door which did not the cold air in the room as the heating was not working.
In it`s favour,the hotel kitchen provided excellent meals in a clean dining area and the staff were friendly and helpful in creating a lively atmosphere in a hotel which is close to all amenities
