Village Montana Apartments. Tignes.
We made a fairly seamless booking to Tignes le Lac for half term skiing. I can't say that Inghams were particularly helpful or not - they were superfluous in this instance.
We booked with friends. They chose to fly to another airport as they live in a different part of the UK. They received no welcome pack on arrival and had no booking reference for ski and boot hire. Awkward.
We had a disjointed journey from the airport with a long wait for a flight arrival then a change at Moutiers. We then occupied a large coach on our own (3 of us) with no rep in sight and no information given. We had a long pause at the resort then were taken to the overseeing hotel of our apartments, in a mini-bus, then expected to carry our suitcases back down the hill, practically to the mini-bus pick up again. This happened again when we left. We dragged the suitcases uphill to the hotel reception then were dropped off by the mini-bus a stone's throw from the apartment entrance!
There was no contact at all from the rep during our stay. I went up to the hotel bar one night to make contact and ask some questions. The rep never turned up at the appointed time. There were loads of activities in the resort that we became aware of over the week. Ice diving, helicopter rides, husky dog rides etc. None of these were on the activity sheet and we would have loved some info. and offers on these. On previous ski holidays we have enjoyed night sledging, mushing and other fun!
We had a great holiday and loved the resort and accommodation. But this was our good choice and luck- nothing really to do with Inghams!
