During the month of July 2012, my family and I visited Vietnam and found it to be a very beautiful and friendly country. We visited Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta, Hue, Danang, Khe Sanh and the DMZ, Hanoi, Tonkin Gulf and HaLong Harbor. We employed the services of Indochina Pioneer as our tour guide and were very pleased with their expertise and professionalism. Having always wanted to visit Vietnam I decided to do a Google search, which is where I found INDOCHINA PIONEER. From my first e-mail with Mr. LAM I knew I had selected a company who would give me the personal attention I was looking for. It was a fantastic trip around Vietnam, flawlessly organized by Ms. Kata Tran. Although we could only stay 7 days, Kata arranjed us an itinerary that covered most of the highlights (Halong Bay, Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An, Saigon, Cu Chi tunnels, Mekong Delta). We would also like to thank to our Hue/Hoian guide, Mr. Huy, which was excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. Surely, one of the best guides we ever met. (read more)

My Vietnam experience far exceeded expectations - and that was largely due to the humanity, flexibility and skill of our trip organizer Lam Duong of Indochina Pioneer. I travelled with a group of eight who'd been involved in a Habitat for Humanity "build" program led by Helen Neale of Te Awamutu in the Mekong Delta area.
