As stated in previous reviews, with Imperial travel direct, the price changes from what is advertised to what is then quoted when you want to secure the deal. My main issues with the company is that once you have paid it's very difficult to get through to customer services who then don't want to help as its near home time for the staff. I also had an issue with my original booking as it appears that the agent booked the hotel that gave me the cheapest deal, but not the one I requested which had a similar name. When I needed to change it, the customer services were so busy to get home that my original hotel request had become fully booked and I was stuck in a hotel in Portugal miles away from anywhere. I was moved the next day, but downgraded in accommodation as it was the only place left in the location that I needed. This experience had taught me to not trust that you are listened to and to check every aspect of your booking before and after agreeing.
