Fantastic Honeymoon in Costa Rica

I booked a 2 week honeymoon to Costa Rica through Imagine Latin America as a surprise for my (now) wife. From the very beginning, the service was enthusiastic and helpful. I generally tend to book my own holidays independently, but on this occasion as it was a honeymoon (so needed to be relaxing), I was short on time (considering I had a wedding to organise) and I wanted to see as much as possible (without wasting time organising tours and transport when we arrived), I decided to book through an agent who had experience in the country, which is where Imagine Latin America came in. I'd done a reasonable amount of research on the internet looking at a number of travel agents' websites, but felt that Imagine Latin America's site gave me a good idea of the options available, whilst letting me know that itineraries were all tailored to suit and importantly, could be tailored to a wide variety of budgets.

I originally sent an enquiry with some rough details via email and was promptly called back by one of their representatives. She ran through a number of itinerary options and had the benefit of obviously having visited most if not all of the locations she suggested. Within a day or so, she had sent me a tailored itinerary and when I asked if we could trim costs down a bit to suit our budget, she had a number of suggestions and was happy to quickly revise the itinerary and quote.

Once I'd settled on the itinerary, She confirmed all the various sections of the booking (as it was fairly short notice I paid the full amount at the time). With all the hotels, tours, transfers and internal flights, it was much easier dealing with a single point of contact than doing what I usually do with holidays and booking everything myself. Receipt of payment was promptly confirmed via email and a few weeks later, an information pack was sent in the post. Imagine Latin America were very helpful in sending this to my work address rather than home to avoid spoiling the surprise!

As for the actual holiday itself, everything went exactly to plan; all the companies which Imagine Latin America partner with locally (transfers and tour guides) were professional and turned up in the right places at the right time so everything felt very well organised. The hotels which she recommended were all fantastic with great rooms, service and (for the vast majority) food and exactly what you'd want from a honeymoon with a good mix of relaxation and exploring.

There was always a point of contact available if we needed it and Imagine Latin America were also keen to get our feedback when we were home so it really feels like they value their customers.

All in all, I'd thoroughly recommend the company as a great way to book a hassle-free holiday without paying over the odds and was really happy with the service they provided.
